Born in Indiana, but  raised in Orange County, California, I recently moved to the Midwest - to a small town in Southern Illinois.

I followed my parents here when they retired and it has been a bit of an adjustment - but deep down inside, I think I like small town life.

For one thing, it gives me a lot of material to write about!
